Delta

A sea of possibilities.
A river delta is a geographical area produced by the accumulation and sedimentation of debris, stones and wood. It is the source of life for a very complex ecosystem. The layering of organic and inorganic elements is the inspiration we decided to work on for our outdoor fabric called Delta.
It is basically an interweaving of relationships between organic colors and earth tones that produces an effect which opens you up to a sea of possibilities.

A place in the sun.
The Delta fabric is designed to upholster outdoor furniture. The complexity of its texture, which associates the weft color with a two-tone warp, allows the fabric to be combined with many different materials typical of outdoor furnishings, such as teak and iroko, aluminum and stainless steel, as well as easily matched with a wide range of paint colors.
Delta is a fabric that dries up very quickly and it retains its softness to the touch over time. Its microscopic structure is designed to guarantee thermoregulation and breathability, as well as resistance to the action of sunlight, humidity, and chlorine.
The Delta fabric looks so good outside that many outdoor chairs wear it with pleasure. The Guinea Armchair, designed for Pedrali, is one of them.
In the beginning was the chaos.
The yarns we used for Delta fabric are extruded in mass-dyed polypropylene. Their shape cannot be traced back to a regular geometric description, due to processes that complicate their symmetry, giving random variations to the spirals of the basic braids. This leads to extremely complex and surprising chromatic effects on the fabric. As you move observing it, you will see variations in tone due to random modifications of the refraction of light.
WANDERLUST
Delta blues.
There are infinite variations of color, complete with the most varied nomenclatures. Depending on the latitude, the habits of a people, there are more or less ways of defining certain shades of red, certain others of white and so on. Blue is the predominant color on the planet! Can you imagine how many blues can be named? There are as many blues as the shades the ever-changing sky has during a day, a season, a year. In the Delta fabric, blues mingle with earth colors as a chromatic harmonica does with guitar strings.
